ABOUT ME
MY STORYHi, I'm Rebekah, talking crystals was created from my love of nature, healing and the incredible awe that arrises from tuning into energy. It’s a joy to share my passion for the profound effect Sound healing, Energy work and Crystals have on our subtle energy body. As well as deepening my own journey with exploring these unique energies. At Talking Crystals I sell ethically sourced crystals, offer 1-1 healing sessions which combines sound healing, reiki, crystals, cranial-sacral and shamanic principles .
I’ve always been intrigued by crystals and spirituality, my healing journey started eight years ago when I was 26. My mental health was declining rapidly, I constantly felt like I didn’t fit and living felt like a burden. I went through a bout of sleep paralysis which was the final straw before seeking help from alternative therapies. I was napping in the day, a lot, going through intense waves of fear and anxiety; This was the beginning of my spiritual awakening. If felt like the world around me was rapidly changing and the way I was experiencing it felt like someone had turned the volume up, colours, sounds, emotions became more vivid and complex.
It lead me onto a journey of seeking spiritual and energetic support from shamans and healers, as there was no body in my day to day life at that time that could help me understand what was happening.
The world of healing, and energy began to be what made sense, a whole lot more than the material world! I started a reiki course, then a year training in cranial-sacral therapy, a year of shamanic practitioner training called Temenous Touch, and gong training. I began to feel happier, lighter, less anxious, less alone, more patient and calm.
I went on to study CranialSacral Principles, and Shamanic practices taught by Evelyn and George at Temenous Touch, the shamanic practices are from the Q’ero Lineage.
It blew me away while learning these healing modalities and moving through my own healing journey that energy was actually tangible, I could feel these incredible stories unfold beneath my hands, energy moving in currents, the body would express patterns and rhythms that changed from irregular and erratic, to harmonised, smooth rhythms, integrated with presence, awareness and sound.
Around the same time I began to feel the energy of crystals, listening to their unique messages, and in a way ‘test’ them. I’d pick ones I felt drawn to. Sitting with them and making a note of how I felt. I would then look up the crystal, and it filled my heart with joy that what I was feeling was the same as the properties that had been described.
This reignited the love of crystals that I had as a child, I began to research ethical sources. All the crystals here come from mines that have been visited, the miners are paid well, have safety equipment, and no dynamite is used. I have witnessed the power of bringing crystals into everyday life, and also giving back to them to make sure they become spiritually greater and not depleted. I give 5% of profits back to the places the crystals are from to pay respect, show gratitude and complete the cycle of giving and receiving.
